Delivery Policy

The following Delivery Policy is only valid for merchandise purchased via the JCT Auto Parts website (“the Webstore”). This policy ensures the accurate and secure delivery of all purchases according to your delivery needs.   1. Courier fees are added after checkout as courier costs are determined by area of destination, service requested, mass and dimension of package. If you are not happy with quoted fee, cancel the order before paying.
  2. We can only deliver products to physical addresses within the borders of the Republic of South Africa.
  3. Courier deliveries takes 2 to 5 business days depending on where you are.
  4. Courier deliveries to outlying areas takes 4-7 business days. Outlying areas might take longer as courier only deliver certain days in the area.
  5. Any dates given by JCT Auto Parts delivery of goods are estimates only and no exact delivery date or time has been agreed. JCT Auto Parts does not warrant that it will deliver the goods within the estimated time. Although it will use its best efforts to do so.
  6. A unique tracking number will be communicated to you via email which can be used to track the status of your order.
  7. Your deliveries will be made through our designated courier company, Fast Way Couriers, The Courier Guy, DHL or Dawn Wing. For information on their Terms and Conditions, refer to www.fastway.co.za/ and www.thecourierguy.co.za
  8. Once you have indicated your address and you have received confirmation of your order, we regret that no changes to the specified address, items ordered and/or delivery option will be accepted.
  9. We reserve the right to contact customers and arrange alternative delivery methods and timelines if their delivery address is remote or to cancel the order if delivery is not feasible.
  10. Before you finalise your order, you have the option to indicate in the “notes” field whether the order should only be delivered to you OR you can specify an alternative authorised person’s name to receive it on your behalf. You or the authorised person will be required to show proof of identification to the courier upon delivery.
  11. In order to safeguard your purchase, the carrier will only deliver to the specified address and to you or one of the people indicated on the notes of the order as being authorised to receive your parcel.
  12. Should an order be placed with false or incorrect address information, the customer will be held responsible for contacting the courier company to make delivery arrangements. Should the delivery be deemed unfeasible the package will be send back to JCT Auto Parts and order refunded minus charges outlined in point 18.  
  13. The courier will request proof of identity from the person receiving the parcel if this was indicated in the “notes” field of the order.
  14. All parcels delivered will be sealed securely. Should this be broken, please follow the guidance below in point 17.
  15. The person receiving the parcel will be asked by the courier to sign the waybill indicating that the parcel/carton has been received undamaged and in good condition.
  16. Proof of ID may be requested to verify authenticity of purchaser.
  17. In the unlikely event that the parcel/carton is damaged and/or the security seal is broken, the receiving person can send the parcel back and indicate on the waybill the reasons for sending the parcel back.
  18. Ineffective deliveries will be sent back to JCT Auto Parts. Order will be refunded minus Courier chargers, Courier return chargers and restocking fee.

  20. JCT Auto Parts reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders and terminate accounts at the company’s discretion.
